Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge will begin its winter hours, effective December 1, 2019, through February 29, 2020. The Refuge Visitor Center will be closed on Sundays as a cost-savings measure due to low visitation during winter months. Seasonal hours are Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In addition to being closed on Sundays, the Visitor Center will be closing at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24, and Tuesday, December 31. The Visitor Center will also be closed all day on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, and New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
