DES MOINES, Iowa - A woman was arrested after police say she was driving while intoxicated with a small child in the back seat.
27-year-old Amber O'Connor was booked into in the Polk County Jail overnight Christmas morning on charges of drunk driving and child endangerment -substantial risk
Police say witnesses reported a car driving recklessly southbound in I-35 near the 92 mile marker in Polk County.
WHO-TV reports officers found the car blocking a residential driveway on east 32nd Street. O'Conner told police she parked there because someone was following her.
Police say they're still investigating the incident. O'Connor was released for jail at roughly 9:30 Wednesday morning.
