WEBSTER COUNTY, Iowa- A Fort Dodge man's charged in a woman's murder. Police were called to a home at 21 North 14th Street in Fort Dodge after 9 o'clock this (Monday) morning, after a report of a man and woman who were fighting. Police arrived and found an unresponsive woman, who died at the scene. Police say 28-year-old Mark Russell was detained, and charged with First Degree murder. Police say it's believed the victim was the mother of Russell's girlfriend, and that he hit her with an object.
Fort Dodge Police say the victim's identity may be released Tuesday.
