DES MOINES, Iowa -- Des Moines police are investigating a shooting near a convenience store Tuesday evening.
Police say a man walked into the QuikTrip at East Grand and East 15th Street about about 6:00 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
He was taken to MercyOne Medical Center in serious condition.
While an investigation continues, police think a nearby alley may be the crime scene.
The victim's not been identified. Police don't yet have suspect in the shooting.
