Washington, DC - Iowa's Republican Senator Chuck Grassley has announced that he's seeking records of Hunter Biden’s travel while he was under U.S. Secret Service protection.
Grassley, who chairs the Senate Finance Committee, issued a statement with fellow Republican Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, who chairs the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee, saying they are continuing to investigate potential conflicts of interest on the part of Hunter Biden to boost his business ventures in Ukraine and China.
In a letter Wednesday to the Secret Service, the chairmen requested information on the protection Hunter Biden received while his father, Joe Biden, was Vice President of the United States.
The senators are also sought details on Hunter Biden’s travel dates and locations while receiving Secret Service protection.
President Trump had asked Ukraine's President to announce an investigation into the Joe and Hunter Biden over potential violations. The president's actions partially led to his impeachment by the Democratically controlled U.S. House.
U.S.intelligence agencies and a number of diplomats have concluded that Russia is behind false implications of wrongdoing by the Bidens.
