DES MOINES, Iowa -- Des Moines police say two juvenile males are in custody after a brief chase Tuesday afternoon that involved a K-9 unit.
Police say a driver called officers saying a passenger in another car pointed a gun at them.
The chase ended near 2900 School St, when the suspects ran from the car.
Police say a K-9 unit called to the scene bit one of the juveniles. He was treated at the scene for minor dog bite wounds, but was taken to a hospital as precaution.
Police say a handgun was recovered at the scene.
