A semi driver was rushed to a Waterloo hospital after a crash in Grundy County early Friday evening.
The Iowa State Patrol says it happened about 5:30 p.m. on westbound U.S. Highway 20, one mile west of Wellsburg.
Patrol investigators say one semi driven by 49-year-old Darin Kruse of Lone Rock, Iowa rear-ended another semi. An air ambulance flew Kruse to the hospital. The other semi driver was not injured.
The Patrol reports Kruse was wearing a seat belt.
