Erick Olmscheid of Des Moines Performing Arts joined Van and Bonnie in the WHO Radio studio to talk about some special shows coming this week at the Civic Center! The Choir of Man is Wednesday evening at 7:30...it's a part..it's a concert..it's a pint -filled good time set in a real working pub that combines hair-raising harmonies, high-energy dance and offers a limited quantity of free beer to audience members who present their ID after doors open at 7PM.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in concert with The Des Moines Symphony comes to the Civic Center on the huge screen Friday, February 21st at 7:30PM and Saturday, February 22nd at 1:30PM. The movie is played on a 40-ft. screen while the Des Moines Symphony plays all the music! Tickets available at www.dmpa.org.
