DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Iowa Democratic Party is releasing results of a caucus re-canvass.
The partial recanvass was done at the request of the Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg campaigns. It covered 81 precincts and satellite locations has nets 29 changes.
The party says 26 of the changes came from the misapplication of rules by the precinct.
Three more changes were made because caucus math worksheets didn't square with what was reported on the Party’s results website.
Even with those changes, the final results stay the same--Buttigieg has a slight Iowa delegate over Sanders.
