DES MOINES, Iowa -- Another breath of spring will blow across Iowa this weekend.
"History would indicate that if you're going to put your snowblower away now it's probably not a good idea. But, the nice thing is this upcoming weekend should be very pleasant and warm with temperatures up around 60" says National Weather Service Meteorologist Craig Cogil.
He says we're in that time of year where the weather takes wild swings
"We are getting into the point in the season where we see big extremes from going real cold, back to warm, and then back to cold" Cogil says.
As for those snowblowers--Cogil says it's probably good to remember that March is historically the third-snowiest month in Iowa.
