ANKENY, Iowa - The Ankeny School District says someone who completed coronavirus quarantine visited the high school last Friday.
The school district sent a letter to parents saying the person recently visited China and has been cleared by medical personnel.
The district says it doesn't believe there's a health risk but it's exercising an abundance of caution and following guidelines from the Iowa Department of Public Health.
Ankeny schools are in session as scheduled.
