REAL TIME MAP Track coronavirus cases around the world

BALTIMORE, Maryland - An interactive real-time map of the COVID-19 coronavirus is up and running, created by Johns Hopkins University, a private research university.

The dashboard shows the location and number of confirmed coronavirus cases as they are reported, along with deaths and recoveries. It allows interactive browsing, the user can zoom in and move the map, and study data for particular locations.

In a statement, Johns Hopkins says the dashboard was created to provide researchers, public health authorities and the general public with a user-friendly tool to track the outbreak.

We had some difficulty getting the main map to work in the Google Chrome browser, but had good results using Microsoft Edge.
