OMAHA, Nebraska - Snow is expected in the Omaha area. Likely a couple of inches total in the Omaha metro, but it could be more. We have a Winter Weather Advisory, roads could be slick.
The National Weather Service describes the snow as wet and heavy, with snow or slush on roadways. The range of snowfall in the advisory area is 1-5 inches, with 1-3 inches in Omaha.
To the northwest and west of Omaha, west of around Fremont and Lincoln, up to four or five inches of snow is possible.
The western half of Nebraska has a Winter Storm Warning posted today until 7 p.m. with several inches of snow and strong winds expected to cause blowing and drifting.
