Iowa adds 125 new coronavirus cases with 2 more deaths

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Another day for triple digit increases in Iowa's new coronavirus cases on Thursday.

The Iowa Department of Public Health says there are 125 new cases, for a total of 1,270 cases.

Public Health also says there are two additional deaths, an older adult and elderly adult in Linn County. Coronavirus has now killed 29 people in Iowa.

The Department says there are 115 people hospitalized with the virus, and 476 people have recovered.

No new counties were added to the list with positive cases on Thursday. Seventy-nine of Iowa's 99 counties have positive cases.
