Two more deaths and 113 new coronavirus cases in Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Iowa's seeing another triple-digit increase in new COVID-19 coronavirus cases.

The state Department of Public Health says there are 113 new cases on Monday, pushing the total to 1,710 cases.

There are also two more coronavirus deaths--an elderly adult in Linn County, and an older adult in Muscatine County. The virus has killed 43 people in Iowa.

The Department says there are now coronavirus cases in 82 of Iowa's 99 counties with a new case in Cass County.

Public Health says 142 people are hospitalized with coronvirus, and 741 people have recovered.
