DES MOINES, Iowa -- There are 257 new COVID-19 coronavirus cases and four additional deaths in Iowa.
The Department of Public Health says the virus has now killed 79 people in Iowa.
There are 214 people hospitalized with the virus--91 are in intensive care.
The Department says there are virus outbreaks in 10 Iowa long-term care facilities.
IDPH says 3,159 people have tested positive for coronavirus, and 1,235 people have recovered.
