Iowa State University confirms positive Coronavirus case in community

A member of the Iowa State University community has tested positive for COVID-19 Coronavirus.

University President Wendy Wintersteen confirmed the positive case in a statement released on Friday. According to the release, the individual self-identified and self-isolated after the positive test.

They were not exposed on campus, and hadn't been on campus in three weeks.

This is the first lab-confirmed case associated with the Iowa State community.
