The Polk County Jail now has 19 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus among the inmate population.
That's the highest total confirmed in the facility so far.
The jail says they are continuing to isolate affected inmates, and that the number of positive cases will continue to change.
The Polk County Jail is working with the Iowa Department of Public Health and the Polk County Health Department on testing both inmates and staff.
