PELLA, Iowa - The death of a Pella woman is being investigated as a murder.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety said Pella police responded to a home on Glenwood Street last night for a domestic disturbance call when they found the woman unresponsive.
Pella police said officers performed life-saving measures, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The department said no arrests have been made and there's no threat to the public.
The woman's identity has not been released and is being withheld until her family is notified.
An autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death will be conducted by the Office of the State Medical Examiner.
