DES MOINES, Iowa - A free webinar Tuesday is designed to help people navigate legal issues affected by COVID-19.
The Iowa State Bar Association, Iowa Legal Aid and the Polk County Bar Association are co-hosting an information session Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 PM..
It'll focus on employee rights, unemployment, workplace safety issues, evictions, foreclosures, debt collection and stimulus payments.
Iowa Legal Aid Litigation Director & General Counsel Alex Kornya will be conducting the session.
It's part of the Iowa State Bar Association's People’s Law School, which provides free, educational events where members of the public can find answers to legal questions.
Speakers present information on a variety of legal topics and answer general questions. The presentation typically takes place on the third Tuesday of the month.
