DES MOINES, Iowa - A man is dead after a single-motorcycle crash north of downtown Des Miones early this morning.
Police say the victim was found dead in the road near 6th Avenue and University around 1:20.
They say, based on a preliminary investigation and witness statements, the crash was likely caused by speeding.
The victim hasn't been identified.
