Major League Baseball has officially canceled the 2020 Minor League Baseball season.
As a result, the Iowa Cubs won't have a 2020 season.
In a statement, Iowa Cubs President and General Manager Sam Bernabe said "Today’s news is disappointing both for our fans who enjoy games at Principal Park each season, and for our staff that had already put a lot of hard work into this year...We are setting our sights on April 2021, and look forward to another great year of Minor League Baseball in Des Moines.”
I-Cubs season ticket holders will be contacted by team representatives, and those who purchased single-game tickets email tickets@iowacubs.com for full credit for 2021.
