An Iowa judge is blocking enforcement of a new law requiring woman to wait 24 hours before having an abortion.
The judge issued a temporary injunction preventing the law from taking effect Wednesday until a legal challenge surrounding it is resolved.
The Iowa Legislature passed the law in an overnight session early this month before adjourning for the year.
