COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - A Council Bluffs man is facing 40 years in prison after being convicted of kidnapping and lascivious acts with a child.
29 year-old Michael Branstrom was sentenced in federal court on Wednesday.
He was arrested in September 2019 after kidnapping a 4 year-old girl and took nude photos of her for over an hour.
Federal charges do not offer the possibility of parole. Branstrom will be 69 at the end of his sentence.
