OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- An Ottumwa man is being charged with attempted murder after hitting a woman with his car.
The Iowa State Patrol says 46-year-old Wayne Ellsworth intentionally hit 31-year-old Megan Farver with his SUV in Oskaloosa Saturday morning. Ellsworth left the road to hit Farver and fled the scene after. Police say Farver was brought to a Des Moines hospital with serious injuries.
Ellsworth was arrested later that evening and is being held in the Mahaska County Jail.
