DES MOINES, Iowa - WHO Radio is broadcasting live from the Iowa State fairgrounds Tuesday in celebration of the new Barksdale Cookies Building.
Gary Slater with the Iowa State Fair says $15 buckets (normally $18) of Barksdale Cookies will be available at the new building from 6 am to 6 pm Tuesday.
The building's opening for one day also coincides with Tuesday's designation as National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day.
WHO Radio will be broadcasting live from our studios at the fairgrounds tomorrow from 5-to-11 am, and again from 4-to-7 pm.
TheIowa State Fair has also taken ownership of Barksdale's State Fair Cookies.
