Story County Emergency Management is sending out the call for volunteers to help with clean-up from Monday's Derecho storm.
Volunteers may asked to help clearing debris on private property, as well as public places.
Those who can assist are asked to RSVP through this link.
Once registered, volunteers will need to report to the Volunteer Reception Center located at Gates Memorial Hall at 825 15th St. in Nevada between 9:00-10:30am on Friday, August 14th and/or on Saturday August 15th to receive a team assignment.
Face covering and social distancing practices for COVID-19 will be utilized at the reception center.
