DES MOINES, Iowa – Des Moines metro school districts are developing their own COVID-19 update pages online.
The West Des Moines district introduced a dashboard this week, which currently shows 14 cases among students and seven among staff members.The dashboard was last updated Wednesday.
Urbandale schools has an update page that was updated Tuesday. It shows 26 students in quarantine, while five students and two staff members have tested positive,
The Ankeny district has a COVID-19 tracker page that is says will be undated weekly. However, its latest data was collected in the middle of August.
Most metro district have schedules in place that conform to the state’s requirement for half of all classes to be in-person.Families have the individual choice of online only classes for their children.
