AMES, Iowa - Ames Police are investigating after a man arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound Thursday shortly before 6 p.m.
He was taken to a hospital in Des Moines, and his condition is unknown.
Officers conducted interviews and confirmed that the man was shot at Brookside Park. Police don't think there's a public threat.
