CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Linn County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of an inmate's death at the Linn County Correctional Center.
40 year-old inmate Ryan Bailey of Marion was found not breathing and without a pulse on Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies and medical staff responded to the cellblock and transported Bailey to a Cedar Rapids hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Surveillance video shows no apparent cause for Bailey's death.
The Linn County Medical Examiner has ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
