One person suffered "extremely serious injuries" after crashing with a semi on I-80/35 in Clive.
Police say the crash occurred just after 4 p.m. on Monday on I-80/35 West/Southbound between Hickman Road and University Avenue.
The identity of the injured driver has not been released.
Police say the car was so heavily damaged crews had to free the driver from the vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.
