WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Positive COVID-19 tests are canceling a playoff football game between two Central Iowa high schools.
West Des Moines Valley and Dowling Catholic will not play Friday night's quarterfinal game after several Valley players tested positive for the virus.
Dowling Catholic will move on to the high school football semi-finals at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls next week.
The West Des Moines School district says anyone who bought advance tickets for tomorrow night's game can contact the Valley athletic department for a refund.
