CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Two house garages in Cedar Rapids have severe damage after a debris fire Sunday afternoon.
The pile of debris was in between the garages in the 200 block of 11th St NW.
Firefighters had trouble putting out the fire because of the sheer amount of belonging being stored floor-to- ceiling in each garage.
There were no injuries, but firefighters had to remove siding and cut numerous access holes to put the fire out.
No one was at home at the time of the fire. The cause is under investigation.
