Des Moines Police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect in a Thanksgiving night fatal hit and run crash.
The hit and run happened just after 9 p.m. Thursday night at the intersection of SE 14th Street and Watrous Avenue. A man was found at the scene in critical condition, he later died at the hospital.
Police say a dark-colored SUV was last seen leaving the scene driving north on SE 14th street.
Investigators believe it could have front-end damage and a broken headlight.
