PALMYRA, Iowa - One woman is dead after an accident yesterday in Warren County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the the crash happened yesterday afternoon near Palmyra. Investigators say a 17 year-old driver failed to stop at a stop sign and struck an SUV on the passenger side.
The SUV's passenger, Amanda Core, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV, Aaron Core, was rushed to an area hospital with injuries.
Investigators have not said if charges will be filed in the case.
