DES MOINES, Iowa -- The five state-operated Test Iowa sites are closing on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds' office says sites in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Davenport will be open 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
The Council Bluffs site will close at 2:00 p.m. on both days to allow time for test samples to be taken to the lab for overnight processing.
Reynolds' office says the State Hygienic Lab will reopen on December 26th and January 2nd, and resume test processing.
The Test Iowa site are:
Black Hawk County - 4121 Alexandra Drive, Waterloo
Linn County - Windstar Lines, 5755 Willow Creek Drive SW, Cedar Rapids
Polk County - 4475 NE 3rd Street, Des Moines
Pottawattamie County - 3236 Nebraska Ave., Council Bluffs
Scott County - North Park Mall, 320 W. Kimberly Road, Davenport
