CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The city of Cedar Rapids is hosting a survey seeking response from riders of its transit system.
The online survey asks question on how riders are using the city's buses during the pandemic.
Earlier in the fall, Cedar Rapids Transit discontinued Saturday service and limited capacity to 15 passengers per bus. It also stopped collecting fares.
The survey includes questions about how the loss of Saturday service has affected riders and which type of contactless payment method is preferred.
It also asks whether riders would prefer more weekday service into the evening, or a return of Saturday bus service.

Cedar Rapids continues to provide Neighborhood Transportation Service for frontline workers at hospitals, grocery stores and gas stations, and service to seniors and persons with disabilities through the Linn County LIFTS paratransit service.
