ANAMOSA, Iowa - The Jones County Sheriff’s Office has issued an Operation Quickfind alert.
Midland Middle/High School says Elizabeth Rodgers and Rylea Ostrander rode the bus to Lost Nation on Thursday afternoon and walked to Rustic Park, but did not return.
A school backpack was located at the park.
KCRG reports Rodgers was last seen Thursday morning in Oxford Junction.
She's described last 14-years-old, and was last seen wearing a black Massimo hoodie with camo, tight black jeans and is described as having unnaturally rectangular-shaped drawn-in eyebrows.
Anyone with information on the girls' whereabouts is asked to call the Jones County Sheriff’s Office at 319-462-4371.
