(Cedar Rapids, Iowa) -- Travelers departing from the Eastern Iowa Airport will soon be required to undergo a health screening before boarding flights.
The airport will begin implementing its "Travel Well" program which will require passengers on outbound flights to answer a health questionnaire and take a temperature check.
Airport officials say if a passenger is found to have a temperature of 100.4 or higher, shows signs of illness, or has had a recent COVID-19 exposure, that passenger will be taken to a private area for further evaluation by a Mercy Health Care worker.
