(Des Moines, Iowa) -- One man is in critical condition after a shooting Wednesday night in Des Moines.
Des Moines Police say the shooting happened after a fight between two men inside the Kum and Go on University Avenue. Investigators say one man had a gun and eventually shot a third man outside the store, who was also armed.
The victim is currently hospitalized in critical condition. Police have the shooter in custody. Neither the name of the victim nor the name of the shooter have been released at this time.
Investigators say this was an isolated incident and does not present a further danger to the public.
