(Des Moines, Iowa) -- Two Des Moines area nurses are going to the Super Bowl as guests of the NFL.
Samantha Jensen of Pleasant Hill and her mother, Billie Kucharo are among thousands of health care professionals being invited to the game by the NFL. Both were able to get COVID-19 vaccinations through work and found out a short time later they were being offered the opportunity to attend the game.
Jensen is an operating room nurse at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Kucharo works at the V-A Hospital in Des Moines.
The Kansas City Chiefs play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Super Bowl LV on February 7th in Tampa, Florida.
