Her appearance comes just as new study by the Food and Drug Administration shows a high success rate for the Johnson and Johnson one shot vaccine.
The FDA could authorize the Johnson and Johnson vaccine as early as Saturday, although there won't be many doses available in the beginning,
Iowa has reached an early benchmarks as of Thursday morning, having delivered at least one shot to more than 600,000 people, almost 20 percent of the state's population.
The state ranks among to top 20 for getting first doses of COVID-19 vaccines to people.
But it ranks near the bottom nationally for its delivery of second doses according to the New York Times vaccine rollout tracker.
Iowa just just reached the level of fully vaccinated 150,000 people as of Thursday morning.
