(Des Moines, Iowa) -- One man is in custody after Des Moines Police say he stole a truck and construction trailer, then led police on a short chase this morning.
Police say they received reports that a truck and trailer loaded with construction materials had been stolen Friday morning. Officers spotted the truck a short time later on Des Moines' north side.
Police say the driver led officers on a short chase that ended in a crash. The driver was arrested at the scene, and no one was injured.
