Iowa State University Planning to Hold In-Person Classes This Fall

(Ames, Iowa) -- Iowa State University is preparing to return to in-person classes this fall.

In an email to all faculty, staff, and students, ISU President Wendy Wintersteen says the university plans to return to pre-pandemic numbers for classes, dorms, dining, and other campus events. Wintersteen says the plan assumes COVID-19 vaccines will become widely available.

ISU Vice President John Lawrence is leading a committee to guide the plan's implementation ahead of the start of fall classes.
