Iowa, Iowa State selected for NCAA women's basketball tournament

Iowa and Iowa State women's basketball have been selected to the 64-team field for the 2021 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.

The Hawkeyes are a five seed in this year's tournament, drawing Central Michigan as its first round matchup. Tip-off is at 11 a.m. Sunday on ESPN, with the winner facing the winner of Kentucky and Idaho State.

Iowa State is a seven seed, and will face Michigan State to open tournament play. The game is at 5 p.m. Monday on ESPN. If the Cyclones win, they'll face the winner of Texas A&M and Troy.

All this year's NCAA Women's Tournament games will be played in San Antonio, Texas.
