DES MOINES, Iowa - Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds wants Iowa to become a destination for teleworkers.
She made the comment while appearing on a new podcast from Iowa Workforce Development called "Mission Employable."
Reynolds said she hopes Iowa can attract teleworkers looking for a low cost of living and a good quality of life.
She mentioned the state kept 80% of its economy "up and going" during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The podcast came as U.S. News and World Report ranked Iowa as the number one state for opportunity.
