It's the Bulldogs first NCAA Tournament win since 1971. The win also snaps their 11-game losing streak against the Shockers.
Drake sophomore guard Joseph Yesufu led the Bulldogs with 21 points in the win.
Bulldogs will now face six-seed USC in the first round Saturday at 3:30 p.m. on TNT.
