(Anamosa, IA) -- An Anamosa State Penitentiary nurse and correctional officer are dead after an inmate attacked them Tuesday morning.
The Iowa Department of Corrections says an inmate attacked staff and other inmates. Security came and restrained the attacker.
The DOC says they're investigating specifics about the attack.
