(Des Moines, Iowa) -- A Des Moines teen is facing charges in a stabbing yesterday at a Des Moines Subway Restaurant.
Police say 16 year-old Brian Schnathorst stabbed 18 year-old Connor Kernes as he was showing up to work at the Subway. According to police, the two knew each other, though investigators have not released a possible motive for the stabbing.
Kernes is in critical but stable condition at an area hospital.
Schnathorst is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder.
