MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa -- Ten Iowa State Patrol squad cars chased a driver going over 100 miles an hour on Interstate 80 west of Iowa City to Mitchellville this morning.
Police dispatch audio reports the driver went over a few stop sticks near Newton and slowed speeds as the pursuit neared Colfax.
Police said the vehicles' tires were damaged and one blew out before the driver went off the road near the Mitchellville weigh station.
Dispatch audio reports the driver hit speeds up to 113mph.
No word on an arrest yet.
